Implementing SAFe® with SPC Certification:
The four-day course will cover the principles and practices of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) and also the seven core competencies of the Lean Enterprise. This knowledge will empower the participant to guide an organization’s Lean-Agile transformation. During the program participants will get a sense of how to coach people for various Scrum programs, build and empower Agile Release Trains, develop a process for a continuous delivery pipeline with a strong DevOps culture, and establish a Lean Portfolio.
The first two days of the course — Leading SAFe® — provide information on the basics required to teach SAFe® to leaders. The next two days focus exclusively on the requirements and skills necessary to successfully implement SAFe® in the organization. A certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC) becomes a change agent for the organization. Course participants learn how to coach and guide the enterprise to succeed amidst competition and provides them with the knowledge required to bring about a Lean-Agile SAFe® transformation in the workplace.

The first two days of the training program is an intensive version of Leading SAFe® for SAFe® Agilist. The ultimate goal is to train and certify individuals as certified SAFe® Program Consultants (SPCs) who can, in turn, teach the Leading SAFe® for SAFe® Agilist course. You will also gain the knowledge necessary to lead an enterprise-wide Agile transformation by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework and its underlying principles of lean thinking and product development flow.
During the next two days, you will understand how to use Agile Release Trains to identify, plan, and execute SAFe® programs. Further, complete access will be given to all the resources required to identify the areas of value, prepare the organization for transformation, launch Agile programs, plan and execute the significant milestone events, and establish efficient processes and steps for continuous program improvement. A certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC) becomes a change agent for the organization. Course participants learn how to coach and guide the enterprise to succeed amidst competition and provides them with the knowledge required to bring about a Lean-Agile SAFe® transformation in the workplace.
The exam fee for the first SAFe® 5.1 Program Consultant (SPC) exam attempt is included in the training fee if the exam is taken within 30 days after successful completion of the SPC training.
